ELEAGUE Major: G2 eliminated

After yesterday’s defeat against Astralis, our Counter-Strike team now has a 1-2 record at the ELEAGUE Major. The team’s next match at the Major is against North, with the loser being sent home. Follow our coverage of the competition here.

Our Counter-Strike team’s first offline event of the year sees it travel to Atlanta for the ELEAGUE  Major, a $1 Million competition featuring the 16 best sides in the world. It is the first Counter-Strike Major in quite some time, and esports enthusiasts worldwide are curious to see who will emerge as world champion after an action-packed week.

The tournament will begin with a Swiss round, in which teams are paired with opponents who have the same match record. Three victories result in qualification for the playoffs; three defeats, in a an early exit and a flight back home.
