As the dust settles on ESL One Cologne, it is now time to look back at this fantastic tournament. Sixteen top teams from all over the world faced off at the LANXESS Arena over the last week at the second Counter-Strike Major of 2016 for the title of world champions and the grand prize of $500,000.
SK Gaming entered the tournaments as heavy favourites, and they managed to live up to that billing – defending the title that they had won at MLG Columbus, while still representing Luminosity Gaming. Marcelo “coldzera” David stole the show once again, putting in a fantastic 1.36 rating as he powered SK to collect yet another international title.
