Last weekend, we hosted our very first Hearthstone tournament, called “G2 Esports Invitational – Class Legends”. It was a single-class competition in which players could choose from two decks, which made for some very interesting matches, filled with memorable moments.
With two Druid decks, our player Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy was crowned champion after beating Dawid “Zetalot” Skalski – the surprise package of the tournament – by a 3-0 scoreline in the grand final. The German player survived some very tough matches along the way and showed great composure, even when finding himself on the back foot. Winning this long-awaited title will certainly come as an extra motivation for Lifecoach, who will try to repeat last year’s appearance at the World Championship.
If you are curious to see which decks were used in the tournament, you can find the top four finishers’ set of two decks below. The decklists of the remaining 12 competing players will be released shortly.
