Our recently acquired Rocket League team, consisting of the players who won the world title under iBUYPOWER Cosmic, has qualified for the second season of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) through the North American open qualifier, which took place over the last two weeks.
Over 3,000 teams took part in the qualifier, which featured a double-elimination bracket. A 1-3 defeat against Take 2 in the Upper Bracket quarter-finals came as a shock to many, but it proved the huge talent pool that exists in North America. After dropping down to the Lower Bracket, our players kept their composure, picking up a convincing 3-0 win over Classic Stanley to secure a spot in RLCS.
