Our Heroes of the Storm team has initiated a bootcamp inside Kinguin’s offices in Poznan with a view to preparing for the upcoming European Championship, in Prague. Over the next week, our players will be working day and night to raise their game and travel to the Czech capital, at the end of the month, in the best possible shape.
At the European Championship, which takes place from October 3rd-4th at the O2 Arena, our team will take on the likes of Team Liquid and Natus Vincere, so a serious preparation will be key to reach our goal of qualifying for the World Championship, at BlizzCon, later this year.
Below you can find a statement from the team’s manager, Radoslaw “Ayden” Kwiatkowski, about the importance of the bootcamp ahead of the European Championship:
“During the first week of October, the most important event in Europe for any professional Heroes of the Storm player will take place. All of these players will have been training for a whole year to compete on the main stage. The European Road to BlizzCon will be for many teams much more than just a tournament with a huge amount of money at stake. It will be a battle for the title of European champion and the prestige that comes with it. Getting to the World Championship will not be easy because there are just two slots, but we are now bootcamping in Poznan to prepare for this tournament. We will be training hard every single day by working on our mechanical skills individually and also coming up with new strategies, which I hope will help us conquer Prague! Our opponents can be sure that we have never been this motivated before and that we will be focused when the time comes.”
