HotS team finishes second in Heroes Major League

Our Heroes of the Storm team came in second place in the ESL Heroes Major League following a 2-3 defeat against LDLC in the final. Despite taking the lead in the series on two occasions, our players were unable to close it out, and so they had to settle for the second prize, worth $1,000.

Our Heroes of the Storm team came in second place in the ESL Heroes Major League, an online tournament featuring the best sides in Europe and a prize fund of $4,200. Following Tuesday’s 2-3 defeat against LDLC in the Upper Bracket final, the team was sent to the Lower Bracket final, in which our players would beat fnatic for the third time in the space of a week, this time by a 3-1 scoreline.

Gamers2 went on to meet LDLC in the grand final of the tournament, and despite taking the lead in the series on two occasions, our players were unable to close it out. and so they had to settle for second place in the tournament.

Still, our players, who secured $1,000, will take positives from the game as they prepare for DreamHack Bucharest’s PGL Spring Champions of the Storm, a $10,000 championship that will be held later this month.
