Maikelele and fox comment on CS:GO update

G2.Kinguin’s Mikail “Maikelele” Bill and Ricardo “fox” Pacheco have shared their thoughts on last night’s important CS:GO update. Read on to find out what they think about the latest changes to the game!

Last night, Valve released a major update for CS:GO, revamping player animations and hitboxes, and slightly nerfing the M4A1-S. The update touched on very sensitive issues, and so it has been received with mixed reactions from the community.

We caught up with some of the team’s players to know what they think about last night’s updates. Mikail “Maikelele” Bill, for example, believes that the Terrorists will have it easier now, considering that fake defuses are virtually impossible now and that the M4A1-S has been nerfed. The Swedish AWPer had this to say about the update:

“Overall, it’s a good update that will change the meta in the game. First of all, the Terrorists will probably have an easier time, while the CTs will be in more trouble. Some fast hotfixes are needed, but Valve knows about these issues so they will probably be fixed really quickly.”

Ricardo “fox” Pacheco is not a big fan of the M4A1-S nerf, but he admitted that he finds the new animations a considerable improvement. Here are his thoughts on the update:

“I did not like the nerf to the M4A1-S that much and I still think the AWP movements should be improved. About the new animations, I think they are cool.”
