G2.Kinguin finishes 9th-12th at MLG Columbus

After easing past Cloud9 yesterday, our Counter-Strike team is seeking revenge against Virtus.pro, this time in a best-of-three clash, with a spot in the playoffs on the line. Follow our full coverage of the North American Major here.

MLG Columbus is finally here! The 16 strongest teams on the planet have travelled to Columbus, Ohio, to compete at the first-ever North American Major, where $1 million dollars will be at stake.  This is the biggest stage there is, and millions of fans will tune in over the next six days to see who will take the title of world champion and the first prize of $500,000.

The tournament will kick off with a double-elimination group stage in which all the matches will be played in a best-of-one format except the decider games, which will be best-of-three clashes. The top two from each group will secure spots in the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.

Below you can follow our coverage of the Major. In case you missed our pre-coverage, check out our preview article about Group D and our extensive interview with Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom.
