Petter ‘Hjarnan’ Freyschuss is AD carry for G2 Esports, who joined the team beginning 2018. He has a long competitive career in the League of Legends scene. First his name became known while on the roster of H2k-Gaming between June 2014 and December 2015. Together with H2K Hjarnan competed in the 2014 LCS Spring Expansion Tournament, and qualified for the Offline Stage after beating Meloncats. In the Offline Stage, H2k won their first match-up against n!faculty, meaning that they were one win away from qualifying for the LCS. The team went on to beat GIANTS! Gaming in the Winner’s Bracket Final, ensuring that they would be playing in the Spring Split. Hjarnan was shining on H2K roster along with his support kaSing in 2015 and team ended up finishing 3rd in the regular season in Spring. In Summer playoffs Hjarnan and H2K went on to beat Unicorns Of Love in the 3rd place match, securing the team 70 Championship Points, which meant that the team had qualified for the 2015 World Championship as Europe’s #2 seed.
In 2016 Hjarnan joined Team Vitality, however, in the Summer split he was moved to a substitute position. For 2017 season Hjarnan was playing on Team ROCCAT establishing a great synergy with Korean support player and his current teammate at G2 Esports Kim ‘Wadid’ Bae-in.
Hjarnan: “I joined G2 Esports because in Europe you’re either first or you don’t really matter. And G2 are unbeatable in being 1st. I also wanted to keep playing together with Wadid. We were the only ones who stood our ground against the strongest teams, G2 including. With our skill, coordination and teammates who deliver first blood and rule their lanes, we’re a force to be reckoned with.”
