We are thrilled to announce that our League of Legends team has won all three individual awards for the EU LCS Regular Split, in which we finished first, with a 15-3 record. Our Jungler, Kim “Trick” Kang-Yun, was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Split, while mid laner Luka “PerkZ” Perkovic was named the Outstanding Rookie, with both players also featuring in the region’s All Star Team, alongside Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet and Raymon “kaSing” Tasng from Vitality and Pierre “Steeelback” Medjaldi from Unicorns of Love.
Those were not the only awards that went our way, however, as Joey “YoungBuck” Steltenpool scooped the honour for Coach of the Season, ahead of Neil “PR0LLY” Hammad (H2k Gaming) and Kévin “Shaunz” Ghanbarzadeh (Vitality).
Trick finished the 2015 regular season with a KDA of 6.2 – the highest among all Junglers in the league. PerkZ, who was part of the team which qualified from the Challenger Series, had a KDA of 5.2, the second-highest of the Split among his peers, falling short only to H2k’s Yoo “Ryu” Sang-ook – who played six games fewer, however. Below you can find a graphic with detailed stats from both players:
The EU LCS awards were voted upon by a panel consisting of Riot’s LCS crew, journalists and the teams themselves. For a detailed explanation on how the voting process was held, head over to lolesports’ website.
