BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2017 Infographic

Despite the stream hiccup on the first day, BLAST Pro Series demonstrated that Denmark knows how to CS:GO and throw a great event. We are here to share all the stats!

BLAST Pro Series was the first big Counter Strike: Global Offensive event to be held in Denmark (ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals in Odense will follow in December) and the Danes did not disappoint!

Over the course of the one day event, the Royal Arena in Copenhagen sold out with over 12,000 fans overlooking one of the craziest stage setups the game has ever seen. The tournament didn’t get started on the best foot due to technical delays on day one, but there was plenty of CS:GO to satisfy fans on day two.

There were five rounds of three simultaneous games played out, man, that was a lot of action to follow! Extra spice to the competition was added by an impressive show match. Those who were at the Royal Arena will agree that the atmosphere was completely euphoric during the epic best of three final between hometown heroes, Astralis, and the number one team in the world, SK Gaming. Although we didn’t perform at our best, it was still a spectacular event and BLAST has certainly made its mark as a premier event.
