After an eventful season with many twists and turns, the Challenger Series has reached the playoffs. The top four teams from the round-robin stage will compete in a single-elimination bracket for the chance to secure a highly-coveted spot in LCS.
The Challenger Series champion will secure auto promotion to the LCS Spring Season, while the teams who place second and third will take on SK Gaming and Gambit Gaming in a relegation stage to determine the last two participants in the big league.
Having finished the regular season in first place, Gamers2 will face mousesports in the semi-finals. The season match between these two teams ended in a 1-1 draw, but we are confident that the outcome will be much different this time around, as Gamers2’s manager Joe “InnerFlame” Elouassi stated:
“I’m really proud of the boys for making it so far. However, the hard work starts now. I believe we can make a strong start by winning 2-0. Our practice has been going pretty well so I’m confident that we’ll have a strong performance in the playoffs. We will not stop until we qualify for LCS.”
