As we approach the end of the regular season in EU LCS, we can see that the top three is all but set as G2 Esports, fnatic and Splyce continue to vie for the title, while H2k remain in free fall and Giants seem to be losing some steam. Origen acquitted themselves well in their first week with the new AD Carry, Augustas “Toaster” Ruplys, but they still have a long road ahead if they want to enter the playoff race.
For the second week in a row, Splyce’s Jungler, Jonas “Trashy” Andersen, was the top performer in Europe, with a KDA of 14.7, followed by Origen’s top laner, Paul “sOAZ” Boyer. And despite their respective teams’ shortcomings, H2k’s Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski and ROCCAT’s Pierre “Steelback” Medjaldi continue to show why they are still highly regarded by pundits and fans alike as they were heavily involved in the action. In terms of champion selection, Nidalee was the most banned champion in the league for the second time in a row, while Sivir and Rek’Sai were among the top choices, alongside Braum.
