Announcing G2 Esports’ Talented Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Squad

Together with ASTRO Gaming, G2 Esports is expanding to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with a roster consisting of Ricky, Blazt, Chino, Decemate and Faccento.

We’re pumped to expand the G2 Army with a team for the brand-new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. We’ve signed a very talented crew of players with experience in previous Call of Duty titles and are confident they will be able to compete in this new title at the highest levels for the Call of Duty World League (CWL) 2019 season.

The team comprises of five U.S professionals who bring a long history of competitive play as well as a great team synergy. We are happy to have ASTRO Gaming, makers of premium video game equipment, to support the G2 Esports Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 team from the very start. The players will be equipped with top of the line gear and collaborate with the ASTRO family for content, boot camping, and more.

The five players who will be donning the G2 jersey for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 professional roster are:

Rasim ‘Blazt’ Ogresevic – previously of Complexity Gaming, Blazt has been competing in CoD titles since 2017.

“I’m beyond excited to be playing for G2 with Ricky, Decemate, Chino and Faccento for the 2019 CWL season. We have the right mindsets and attitude to achieve great things! It’s going to be a fantastic year.”

Martin ‘Chino’ Chino – previously of Team Envy and is one of the most veteran players on the team having started competing in 2012.

“Very excited and proud to be representing G2 Esports for the 2019 CWL Season! I’m going to be playing alongside Ricky, Blazt, Faccento and Decemate and I feel like we can do something special here with our teamwork and work ethic taking us to the top. Time to get to work and show the community what we can do together.”

Jacob ‘Decemate’ Cato – previously of Team Envy and has been playing professionally since 2017.

“I’m super excited to be playing for G2 alongside Ricky, Chino, Faccento, and Blazt. CWL 2019 is going to be huge and this group of guys and I have the potential to do something really special this year. I can’t wait to get into it.

Brice ‘Faccento’ Faccento – previously of Echo Fox, he has the distinction of placing in the top 4 of every Call of Duty Championship he’s attended.

“I’m super excited to represent G2 for the 2019 CWL season. The motivation levels are through the roof with the squad! We have a hard-working team with great attitudes. It’s gonna be a great year!”

Richard ‘Ricky’ Stacy – previously of Complexity Gaming, has also been competing in the CoD franchise since around 2012.

“With all the hype around Call of Duty this year, I could not ask for a better opportunity to play under such a great organization like G2 with my team of Decemate, Chino, Faccento and Blazt. CWL 2019 will be one of the biggest years for competing and I’m excited to see what they have in store for us. I’m ready to get to work with our team and do big things with G2 supporting us.”

The hard-working attitude and professional background of each player was very important to G2 as we were considering who to invite to our newest roster.

G2 Esports CEO Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodriguez thinks of the new team:

“I’m so excited that we have the chance to expand G2 with a roster for CoD: Black Ops 4. There has been a lot of community excitement for this release and it will make for great competition in the upcoming CWL 2019. The players we have signed are all experienced with previous titles and have proven that they can compete with the best as well as entertain the community. Everyone at G2 is looking forward all of the cool stuff coming up from them and our partners at ASTRO Gaming. We have a great ambition and big goals. They’ll make us proud.”

Esports Manager at ASTRO Gaming Cole Lovelady says:

“G2’s vision for esports, content and partnerships align deeply with ASTRO Gaming’s values and we’re thrilled to enter this year’s Call of Duty World League as an official partner and supporter of their all-star roster. There are few organizations that exude the standard of excellence G2 provides, and we’re honored to welcome their organization into the ASTRO Family.”
