G2 Esports along with accomplished teams such as Cloud 9, Team SoloMid, Counter Logic Gaming, Misfits, SK Gaming, Team Liquid, and Team Dignitas will represent the Clash Royale League in North America and Europe. In preparation for these news, we at G2 have been working on a team structure that will set the foundations for a successful, long competitive run.
Here is what G2 Esports CEO Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodriguez had to say about this new venture:
“Clash Royale is the king in mobile. We’re incredibly honored that Supercell chose G2 Esports to represent Europe in what is considered one of the most relevant games worldwide. We hope to bring as many trophies home as we’ve historically done in many other titles throughout the last years.”
We expect Clash Royale League to represent the highest level of competition and we’re already looking forward to see new G2 Esports roster show up on the stage in the new studio in Los Angeles.
In the upcoming weeks we’re looking forward to announcing our 2018 lineup. Clash Royale League teams will be built from a draft system of players which means that everyone can become a pro! More than 25 million players competed in Clash Royale League Challenge tournament. There were 6,723 CRL Challenge winners which depending on the region will have a chance to make it to one of the teams!
