G2 team results: April week #2

Want to know how our teams performed last week? Check out this infographic with the results from all our squads.

There certainly was no shortage of action last week for Gamers2’s teams, which took part in multiple online tournaments. Starting off with our CS:GO squad, the Polish team began the week with a 0-2 loss against dignitas,  but after they brought Michał “MICHU” Müller in, things took a 180-degree turn and won two of the following three official encounters went the way of G2.

Our Heroes of the Storm team, which is currently preparing for DreamHack Bucharest’s PGL Enter the Storm tournament, acquitted themselves really well in both the DingIt Invitational and in Enter the Storm #1, but in both tournaments they were unable to move past Team Liquid.

After a week-long break, Gamers2’s Call of Duty team returned to action last week with a quadruple header in LVP’s Primera División, and as expected Jorge “Methodz” Bancells and company won all matches without too much trouble. However, things did not go the team’s way at the weekend as they were eliminated in the ESWC qualifier in the first round following a 0-3 defeat against HyperGames.

Finally, our League of Legends squad played out a three-game thriller with Reason Gaming in the EU Challenger Series 3rd-place decidier, with victory going our opponents’ way, which means we had to settle for fourth place in the playoffs.
