Lifecoach wins Celestial Invitational #1

G2.Kinguin’s Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy won Celestial Invitational #1 after seeing off tom60229 3-1 in the grand final. The German player, who will be at the WCA finals, in China, later this month, secured a $10,000 payout with this victory.

This week, 16 Hearthstone players from all over the world locked horns in the first edition of the Celestial Invitational, which had $25,000 up for grabs. G2.Kinguin was represented by two of its players in the tournament, Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy and Thijs “ThijsNL” Molendijk, but sadly only the former made it to the playoffs as the Dutchman finished third in his group following a three-way tie with Dog and Brarose.

Lifecoach, who will be at the World Cyber Arena finals later this month, carried this momentum into the playoffs and moved past Eloise, Kolento and tom60229, three very strong opponents, to secure the title and a $10,000 payout, which will certainly act as a timely motivation boost ahead of the event in China.
