Starladder announced today that it is moving the upcoming SL i-League Starseries Season 2 finals from Nanjing to Kiev. Due to the G20 Leaders Summit in Hangzhou, on the first week of September, Chinese authorities have beefed up security, resulting in a stricter visa policy.
With many teams potentially withdrawing from the event due to visa issues, Starladder has decided to host the event in Kiev instead, with the exact venue still to be announced. Apart from that, everything stays the same, as 16 teams from all over the world – including G2 Esports – will duke it out for $300,000. This will be our team’s first offline event since the ESL One Cologne Major, and the players will be determined to get back on track!
